I live is South Dakota and was excited to try these mittens. After wearing them once, to shovel snow for a couple of hours, my hands were cold most of the time and one of the mittens was already pilling up after just that short amount of time. They were cozy, yes, but not for a truly cold climate. These would do better in the Southeast, like Georgia. And after returning them, I lost over $10.00 on the transaction. Had I known that would happen, I’d have kept them for fall and springtime use. Overall, disappointing.
