Windows 10 crashes after some connection time.

After my Windows 10 laptop was connected to this hub for about a few days, the Windows Explorer process started consuming more and more CPU resources until the laptop became unusable and didn't need to be reloaded. Doesn't occur without a hub (with the laptop alone or with a Dell hub instead). Both myself and our IT department have taken a number of steps to diagnose and resolve this issue, but to no avail. Everything else works fine. It gets quite warm as others have pointed out, but not hot.
