I travel by bike and to save weight and space, the fewer cables I take with me the better. The problem is that EVERY bike headlight, front and rear, uses that stupid plug, so I have to bring a special cable to charge them. With this adapter I can use the USB cable to charge my flashlights and save weight and space. I just charged my flashlights and they work great. I don't have anything that uses data with this connector so I can't check the baud rate, but for charging it works great!
