This candle is so beautiful! I considered buying the darker pinecone Luminara candle, but opted for this one as I have 5 other Luminara candles and all except one are cream colored. The one that isn't cream colored is a teal and the light does not show up as nicely as the cream colored one does.I will probably be buying more of these for Christmas presents as they are unique and beautiful. I considered taking a video of the candle operating, but I couldn't get it to show as nicely as it does in person and I didn't want to give anyone any bad ideas about this candle.UPDATED 9-4-2021So my expensive and very beautiful pinecone candle has stopped working! What happens with these brand of candles (I have only owned Luminara brand) is that they seem to suck the life out of the batteries and then the batteries end up "exploding" and they corrode the metal that touches the batteries to make it operate. With this candle the little metal coil contact actually corroded so much that it broke off of the plate it was soddered onto and now it it useless and won't work! I do want to say that the exploding battery happens in a very short span of time, like from the time I place fresh batteries to when the batteries stop working. I have found that the battery has exploded! :-(Maybe 5 years of life from this type of candle is good but not at a $45 price range!
