Review on 🚪 Maxpow 2Pcs Lift Supports Struts for Odyssey 2005-2010 Tailgate Trunk Liftgate by George Kapoor

After both tailgate supports or our 2007 Honda Odyssey failed I realized how heavy the door is without assistance! The door was a little difficult to close for a while, it took some effort to get it up so I think it worked on one working jamb for a while and the second eventually failed. Removing old racks and inserting new racks is surprisingly easy. in the same way. I used rolled up rug and cardboard to support the door to its full height (although having someone hold it open would be easier/safer). It took about 5 minutes to work if at all. It's amazing how easily the door opens now (well, it actually opens by itself). Still getting used to having to force close. Maybe I should have just replaced one strut ;) Our original struts lasted over a decade. Time will tell how long they last, but they're so cheap and easy to replace that I'm not overly concerned. To be honest, replacing wipers takes longer.
