Review on πŸ–±οΈ Unleash Your Gaming Potential with the ASUS ROG Chakram Wireless Aura Sync RGB Gaming Mouse – Featuring Optical Sensor and 16000 DPI by Ashley Williams

A typical high-end ROG product, but not optimal for me.

Good quality product from ASUS but the complaints are the same as most. The "joystick" is too far forward for the way I hold the mouse. It needs to be pushed back about half an inch or more. The side buttons are where most thumbs are, so here they are. There must have been package restrictions moving the joystick so far forward from that position because it didn't make much sense. What does Asus have to do with this? The other buttons seem to work well, but nothing special in terms of design. The lighting is pretty cool if you like it. The battery life is just ok. I think it would be more convenient if I had a good inductive charger. (I'm using a 2.4GHz dongle which seems to be recommended instead of BT.) I'm getting the typical crashes I see with most wireless mice I buy where sometimes it turns off and I turn it off - and turn it on again to make it work properly again. I blame this mainly on the overused 2.4GHz spectrum. I don't really see this with BT, but proprietary 2.4 solutions seem to suffer from interference in populated areas. My gold standard for mice is the Logitech MMO G600. This mouse is incredibly versatile and the third button makes you wonder why every mouse isn't designed that way. I mean we have 5 fingers? Why not use more of this on the mouse? Unfortunately, this mouse isn't wireless, so I'm struggling to love the chakram, but I feel like I could go back to my beautiful G600.
