These GE lamps made in Hungary last less than 24 hours
I bought them for a lava lamp. Three lightbulbs burned out in less than 24 hours; I assume the other three will last just as long. (I have another lamp that has been running for several years. Both lamps have a timer that runs 8 hours a day. I swapped out the lamps to make sure the problem was with those lamps and not the lamp or the timer .) This is a surprisingly bad batch of lightbulbs. Update 2021: I forgot I bought some of these lamps earlier and bought another batch for the same lava lamps. Three lightbulbs burned out in one day. No one should buy these bad, very bad, terribly bad lightbulbs.
