Subtle light in the cabin and lamps for comfort
These are very simple light bulbs. They are polarity sensitive. So if it doesn't light up, rotate the bulb 180 degrees and reinstall. The contacts at the base are a bit narrow (close to each other). I had to spread the contacts outward to work in the lamp socket (the internal lighting board in the Jeep Liberty).
