Switched to 11 Pro s, long outdated, 6s.
First impressions are of course very positive. Of the main ones, this is the lack of a Home button. A very smart decision, to save the phone from an additional element that can fail at any time. The decision to get rid of the button allowed us to expand the screen and introduce face ID. These are the second and third positive moments, where there are no questions about the screen because it looks great, and the bloated problem with the “bangs” is solved by getting used to in a few hours, but there are nitpicks about the face ID.
The phone lies perfectly in the hand. Thanks to the metal frame around the screen, even without a case, the fit is good, it's harder to drop than 6s.
Photo and video shooting compared to 6s - can not be compared.
What is also very pleased is the sound.
If earlier, in order to hear an interlocutor or some kind of video through the speakers, you had to hang the phone almost in your ear, now, the sound is so powerful that I don’t even always use full volume. This is definitely a plus.

Before buying, I compared 11 Pro 256 GB with 11 and 12 Pro 128 GB. I reviewed a bunch of reviews, asked around for the opinions of friends and consultants in the store and decided for myself that 11 is too big and heavy (especially felt when switching from 6s), and disappeared on its own, and 12 Pro was not impressed with the filling, speed of work, quality of materials , and I have never been a fan of sharp edges. So I decided not to overpay for 12 Pro and took this model and did not regret it.

Despite the gap of several years between the 6s and 11 Pro, I did not notice any breakthrough technology or a huge difference. Yes, they removed the button, Yes, the camera began to shoot better, the screen was made bigger, but in general it is still the same iPhone, just an ated model. If my old man did not begin to lose ground, he would definitely wait for another 1-2 releases of new models.

- Price - Lack of 128 GB memory - Face ID (more of a nitpick) Price. Everyone knows about iPhone prices, and this is an unpleasant moment with which every buyer goes to the store. There's nothing to be done here. But the second 2 shortcomings, in my opinion, could be solved before production. By creating the 11 Pro, with 256 GB of memory and excluding 128 GB from the line, the manufacturer pushed iPhone fans to buy a more expensive device with extra memory. I used iPhones of different models, and before buying 11 Pro, I realized that 64 GB was not enough for me, but 256 GB seemed like a huge amount. Yes, I have less memory on an old Macbook. And I had to tighten my belt and agree with the imposed choice and take 256 GB, with the knowledge that I would not need so much memory. Face ID. In general, the work of the new system is implemented well, but, for example, it is impossible to unlock the phone using face ID by turning it horizontally, as well as with closed eyes or in a medical mask, which is very important in our time.
