I've had this mat for about 2 months now. This is the first hard pillow I have ever bought for myself. I chose Razer because I needed to increase in-game FPS from RGB on the mat :) Also, most hard mats don't have a built-in mouse cable holder. This really drew me in as I don't have space and can't bother having a whole separate item just to keep the mouse cable in place lol. The pad is very smooth but still offers decent control. I use a Deathadder V2 mouse with this mouse pad and in my mind at least I believe it has helped me improve my game as I can micro move more accurately due to the lower friction that a hard mouse pad offers. Even after 2 months of playing 4+ hours a day 5-6 days a week I still feel the same as the day I bought it which is nice as I see a lot of people who complain about the rapid wear of the hard pads. Also, it will wear out your mouse legs a bit faster, but no problems so far at least. I will update my rating when/if my mouse pads wear out to give an estimate of how long they will last. It is VERY easy to clean! That's the main reason I switched to a hard pad to begin with. It absolutely takes some getting used to when you're just going from soft to hard padding, but after 2 months I got pretty used to it. I'm still typing it and still have some way to go before I'm 100% used to it, but I find it an improvement, at least for me. Pros: - Smooth, hard surface helps with micro-movements/aims - Very easy to keep clean - Mouse cable holder built into mouse pad is a breeze - Extra FPS boost in game by adding RGB on mouse pad is a good thing: ) Cons: - It takes a few months to get used to this pad, but the change may benefit you depending on your preferences/playing style.
