I use it for hanging pictures. I do it now when I'm bedridden trying to do sentimental things like painting for my family and future family that I will never see as future grandchildren. My canvases are thin as I think thickness is just wasteful but that's just my preference so I can't use the screws provided but my husband will eventually use them I'm sure. I had to use clear gorilla glue to apply it to the back, I scraped off the paper layer on the back where I had attached it so it would stick better, then bought some silver flat buttons and cut them off with small wire cutters . at an angle so it comes through but isn't visible from the front, then I place a hanger with glue on the prepared area, then press the thumbtack and put something heavy on top overnight for security.
