Nice bag, terrible smell

I ordered a purple bag. The color is beautiful! The handles are made of very smooth material, which makes the bag easy to carry. It feels very sturdy and well made. Overall this is a very good lunch bag with plenty of space. The only negative feedback I have is the strong chemical smell that was present when I opened the box. Wiping the pocket inside didn't help. I really hope the smell goes away because otherwise I would be afraid to put food in it. I still think that the bag deserves 5 stars for the other reasons mentioned.
