These skates are just perfect! I'm so glad I went ahead and ordered these instead of renting my old bad skates back from the rink. My feet were comfortable the whole time. I knitted the first cross bar of the bodice and knotted it there. My ankles were well supported and there was no pinching from stiffness. Other reviewers have complained that the boot's tongue hurts when crumpled. This is a simple fix, just spread the tongue around your foot before lacing. The wheels were smooth and glided much better than rental skates. I would definitely buy them again. *Just an update 2.5 years later: I still love these skates! I've worn them several times and they're still great!
