Functional, awesome, an essential kitchen tool!
I like this thing. I've been making a lot of chutneys lately, and peeling apples is a sleep-in holiday. That is amazing. I really like the side grip, especially since my hands have lost strength from arthritis! Very sharp and durable. When the core is securely fastened in the tube, pull the core out, squeeze the handle to open the chamber, and slide the core out. Easy to use and clean. Too bad I didn't find one of these sooner as I was coring a lot of apples. Awesome, functional, essential kitchen tool!
