Suitable for iPad Pro 12.9 " with a thick case! Also works with iPhone 12 Pro Max!

This set contains two sizes of V-clamps. The large size fits my 12.9 inch thick iPad Pro. The smaller size works with my iPhone 12 Pro Max, making it a two-for-one deal. V-clamps are screwed to the adjustment rail. They won't get too close to holding a much smaller phone, but I'd say they should at least be able to hold an iPhone 12 or 12 Pro. Of course, it fits on a smaller iPad, Kindle or other e-reader. The clamp base fits a standard 5/8"-27 screw, making it compatible with most mic stands if you want to screw on the top. , and it comes with a clip, which is very convenient to attach it to a tripod leg or microphone stand. This clip holds my iPad securely to the point where I don't have to worry about my iPad Pro accidentally falling out of the clip. , but when I touch my iPad, it jumps a bit. This is partly due to the lightweight tripod I mounted it on, but even when mounted on my Manfrotto tripod it still bounces around. I think if it was metal its weight would be more stable; it is plastic. This helps keep the iPad as close to the center of gravity as possible. There's enough room for the V-Clamps to move along the rail they're attached to, making it easy enough to slide them up or down toward the center of the iPad. And anyway, as long as I don't touch the iPad and shake the tripod, it's stable. The clamp that attaches to the tripod leg is also great. It's metal and covered in rubber so it shouldn't damage anything you're attaching it to unless you pull it out and retighten. The screw is very long. The clamp could probably fit around a 2.5 inch diameter post. I see many uses for it, even beyond its intended purpose.
