I chose Elac. There is this central channel and the environment that goes with it. For the most part they were great. However, it was a rocky road with a central canal. The first one I bought had a dent in the center driver. Fearing that one day it would haunt me, I called elac support and they recommended returning it. So I did. The second one I bought worked great for about a month. Then there was a hum/vibration in the center speaker. Called elac support again and after some troubleshooting, the speaker was sent in for repair (at my expense). When he came back he sounded great again. However, we watched a movie last night and the hum/vibration could be heard again from time to time. Not as bad as last time, but I'm afraid it's coming back. The speakers sound great, but the quality seems a bit lacking. The support is great too, but paying to have a defective product shipped to them is terrible.
