Review on Pirelli Scorpion Winter 315/35 R21 111V by Adam Tomasz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

In principle, I chose tires last year quite consciously and the decision to abandon the spikes was made after weighing all the pros and cons. I ride mostly in the city and only a little on the highway, there is no off-road in the winter version at all. In winter, in the city and suburbs, the main problem is not with ice, but with the unpredictability of snow removal. Therefore, freshly fallen snow that has not been removed, a rolled layer of snow, or wet porridge mixed with snow and sand with reagents are the realities of our winter life. In such conditions, scorpions turned out to be more than a good choice, I am pleased with them.

Pros
  • Pleasant V-shaped tread gives good flotation in loose snow and rolling. Stable on asphalt. Quiet! Quite wear-resistant - last season I drove 12-13 thousand and the wear of the tread by eye was somewhere around a quarter. Good handling in turns and maneuvers. Just a great grip and behavior at relatively high speeds. Adequate braking distance - with a tape measure, of course, I didn’t run and didn’t measure it, but the braking is clear and the braking distance is quite small.
Cons
  • I think that there are no shortcomings as such.
