Does exactly what is on the bench

Good DVR. The supplied cable is not designed for heavy use. It snaps into place immediately if you pull a little harder. I had to buy another, strong cable. The instructions were another problem. I was able to find a suitable manual for this camera. I had a hard time figuring out how to set it up for loop recording and motion detection. I'm still learning how to use it. But the recording quality is really good.
