DIY rabbit playpen is the best for doors, gates and ramps

I bought these after reading many reviews on this and other similar cubes. I liked that they came with smaller, rectangular pieces. These pieces are great for creating custom playpens when you can't get a perfect square. I had an odd shaped place that I wanted to turn into a place for a rabbit that I adopted. I ended up ordering 2 of these plus a regular practice pen and tied them together with zip ties. This worked best for my space. I plan on letting my bun "roam free" after we adjust to living together. If you are buying this to build any type of Olympic level jumper enclosure trust me you will need 2+ kits. One set will give you a square about 24 inches high, maybe slightly larger depending on your design. My muffin clears 24 inches before breakfast. metal handle, plastic on one side of the head, rubber on the other) * lots of "docking" parts (I still have some) * parts fit together nicely after assembly (also a small issue, see below) * zip ties included and much more than you need * Easy to assemble and disassemble if you're like me and change your mind about the design 4 or 5 times during assembly and then again when you bring the bun home. Cons: * You will need more than one kit for each animal larger than a guinea pig. Possibly more than 2 depending on your design. *If you have gum (I don't, but I have a lazy fluffy ball) the plastic pieces might be tempting. Just watch her. *Parts are a bit difficult to get into the mounts and some require a little more hammering than others *As mentioned above, the parts fit the mounts very tightly once you hammer them in. That's great as long as (as mentioned above) you change your mind about the design. It's ok as it takes a little effort to separate them. *One of the thinner metal slats came loose from the main square while I was building this, but I can't say it's a design flaw. I think I pushed him too hard. I still used it, just placed on top of the setup so my bun didn't hurt. You must be careful in this case and place this piece so that no animal can reach it. I would like the seller to offer a larger package option. *I took off a star for strength because I noticed that in places where I just used zip ties to create a larger door (more than a square, a little flimsy). Nothing special as my bun is only 4 pounds, but it may not be strong enough for a larger animal. pet owner. You can always subtract or add it as you need.
