This radio has excellent AM reception and great adjacent channel rejection so I bought it. Remote talk shows are loud and clear. very happy about it. Now the "but" part. The walkie-talkie's body is made of hard, glossy black plastic, which not only makes it slippery in your hands, but also leaves fingerprints on it (see photo). The second question is related to the first. Since this is a slick, slippery radio, it must have a grip. The lack of a handle makes this radio difficult to carry for fear of dropping it. Finally, there's no option to keep the display on, making this radio not the best option as a clock radio. These are really small things, but they affect the overall usability and enjoyment of the radio.
