Sunscreen Snob Approved!

I'll admit I'm a snob when it comes to sunscreen. I don't make it sticky, sticky, smelly or heavy, and Lord Jesus help me if it stays on my skin like a layer of white body paint. For me to be happy with a sunscreen, it has to be lightweight, unscented (or at least have a pleasant and minimal smell), fit well under makeup, don't irritate my sensitive skin, and (of course) protect my incredibly pale complexion on my faces. availability bonus. Due to my rather long list of requirements, I switched to Japanese sunscreens a long time ago, as I find their formula better and more elegant overall than the North American counterparts. However, I have used Etude House products before and was pleasantly surprised, and when my favorite Biore sunscreen ran out just before my vacation and I needed something with next-day delivery, I decided to try this Korean sunscreen. . I'm happy to report that this was a clear winner - it even gets an accessibility bonus! The consistency is fluid and fluid, spreads well, has a slightly matte finish that has proven to be a good makeup base. Even my husband, who hates sunscreen (because, as he puts it, it makes you feel "stupid and gross"), happily used it during our trip to Italy this month. sun god next to me is PALE. I have just returned from a 2 week stay in Europe and have not suffered any burns at all. I'll admit I blushed a little the day we spent 7.5 hours at the Palatine Hill and Colosseum in Rome, but that's probably because 1) I was sweating like a church bum and 2) didn't reapply as often as I should have. But the color was minimal and I attribute that to user error. I love that it can be layered without getting thick and rough (wouldn't mind adding another layer on top if needed) and the TSA approved sizing is perfect. The bottle never spilled on the flight nor in my bag as I traveled around Italy and the little tip on the bottle made it easy to control the amount. It has a really mild smell, nothing offensive or overpowering. girly, and it fades fast. Overall, for the price and quality, I would definitely buy it again. Actually, like my husband will now and forever, I have to compare all other sunscreens to "the good one we used in Europe" lol.
