My little escape artist (who isn't that small for £50) used to be dangerous to drive. He likes to climb into the front seat while I'm driving and occasionally sneaks into my lap, which luckily hasn't caused an accident (yet!). I bought this barrier after checking metal and mesh and I'm glad I got it! Great price and arrived in 1 day. I have a Honda Fit (small hatchback) and after trying to install it without looking at the instructions, I read the simple instructions and got everything set up quickly. My dog didn't like the barrier and tried to climb over it but it was solid and strong and wouldn't budge! In the end he got it and stayed behind! He couldn't fit his body into the pages, but he could still stick his head in so I could scratch his chin on his shoulder. Definitely recommend!
