I usually chocked the wheels, leveled them with a jack and then lowered the 4 stabilizers. I still couldn't get rid of the rocking no matter how hard the ground was. I had my eye on X-Chocks, but since my axles were further apart than most campers, I didn't think I could use them. Well after the camper's FB page let me now they made them in wider versions too I quickly found these and took them. I decided to buy one and then evaluate how well it works before buying a second one. Immediately we noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference in stability once pressed against the tires. Enough that I don't think we need one on the other side. If we were full time then maybe. Or if we might have a 30ft camper as well. Or when children were running around. But just for my wife and I in an RV less than 30 feet, one was enough. I had to relocate one of the side skirt braces that keep the plastic wheel skirts from rippling while driving as it was set at a 45 degree angle from the skirt to the camper frame and was right where the X-chock was supposed to be. . can i get it back Sure, yes!
