Too stretchy for my ankle in bed

Bought this to wear my fancy Shine 2 to bed for sleep monitoring. I wanted to put it on my ankle but it was very stretchy, caught on the sheet and shrank due to the rubbing of the elastic against the fabric of the sheet. It fits my Misfit Shine 2, but not a single LED is visible on the dial under the black rubber. The rest is quite convenient.
