Great looking watch strap

Ordered brown oil wax. In my opinion this is a very effective and beautiful strap - so good that I'll be ordering a replacement soon in case it wears out in the future and I can't find it on sale anymore. This retro style might be more masculine, but I think it also looks good with elegant watches. They are nicely packaged in a nice box with four pins and quality tools that make changing the strap relatively easy. [However I had to remove the bent pins from my old watch due to their tight fit.] They fit me well - I'm smaller in build - the first or second hole works well for my small wrist - the loose end doesn't all loop back to the watch , as some bracelets do. On the contrary, it may not work for those whose physique matches the position of a fireman, farm worker or forest worker. The only minor issues I have are: 1. The brown oil wax and gold stitching go very well with a gold watch, but oddly the buckle only comes in silver. However, I was able to replace it with a buckle from my old watch strap (it uses removable pins); and 2. The inner part of the strap is soft and unpainted in a rather light color. If the strap is not passed through the second loop of the holder, or if this loop is not positioned correctly, the end of the strap may protrude (especially when it is new and flat), making the color difference noticeable and a little aesthetically inappropriate. I leave the band closed even when I'm not wearing a watch, so after a couple of weeks it changed shape so that the end of the band curls on the wrist, and now it's not as annoying. But these small problems are more important. balanced by the very stylish look and feel of this watch strap. I also bought the black version of this watch strap. It comes with yellow stitching - white or silver would be a good option if available. If you look very closely, the black has a more textured patina compared to the smooth surface of the brown oil wax band. Brown appears to change color slightly with age to match the appearance of worn leather; while black appears to have a more sustained look for its aging. The buttery, waxy brown is by far my favorite for buyback, black is in the likely buyback category.
