I wasn't happy with the hardness of the material when I first got it. However, I didn't want to leave an unfair review to ruin anyone's business. So I risked my money to try it! I washed it with a silk detergent as I am a fan of silk dresses and already own over 20 real silk scarves. I did the right thing. This is a beautiful piece of natural silk scarf. After washing away the starch that the maker used to shape it, the scarf regains the softness and suppleness of silk. Thanks very much! I would recommend it.
