Compatible with Mac OS 10.12.6 Sierra on Mac Pro 5.1 2009, this card is easy to plug in and use and works great! BUT note that this can interfere with the internal Bluetooth signal, making a peripheral Bluetooth connection impossible. (This is a known potential issue with some USB 3.0 and 3.1 cards installed in computers with Bluetooth). Initially, after installing the card, my APPLE Magic Mouse started to work very unevenly and then stopped working altogether. But after establishing a working connection to the mouse using another computer and then returning it to my Mac Pro, it worked fine again. Very strange, but you must know about it.
