When I received this spatula in the mail I was surprised at how rough the surface was. I was excited to get some really good spin shots. I took it to court and tried it and I really liked the way it felt. I was in a tournament with my friend and brought this racquet to our first game and we were told it was illegal and didn't conform to the official code. It was a pretty big crap. I still use this racquet a lot when I go play, but not when preparing for a tournament. After prolonged use, I've only noticed a small chip on the edge about halfway to the surface of the paddle. The problem appears to be flat seams and the reason for this was the ball hitting the edge too hard. I want to end up playing tournaments.
