Working but no actual assembly instructions

There were no assembly instructions which was a bit frustrating. I have a few left, I don't even know what they are for. (See attached image for instructions. It shows all the parts but not how they fit together). The light and remote worked perfectly when I watched a few different YouTube videos on building similar products.
