Easy & Convenient Software For Pattern Making

I like how easy it was for me to use this program compared with other programs that are more complicated. It does what it says! There isn't much that I dislike about this software. A couple things come to mind but they aren’t really issues so I will just leave them at that. If you're looking for something super complex then maybe go somewhere else because their version seems geared towards the person who just wants a piece of paper or computer file where they can look up their inventory without having to go into a database every time. This allows us to keep all our documentation organized together rather than have a ton of different folders scattered around my desk. Also, we didn’t realize how many options there were until after using this program. Not only did we find out quickly that there weren’t very many customization features once we got past those initial set-up steps - we discovered even more hidden gems within this product than we had thought. We also realized that if we wanted certain sections to be "off limits” we could easily do that as well. My clients love being able to see current trends before new orders come in which helps give us an advantage when trying to make fashion decisions for upcoming seasons. The program is very easy to use, and all the features are there for your convenience and efficiency. I like that I can print out a sample of my patterns as needed. There are some bugs with the program which require updates to make them work properly. It would be helpful if they offered an option to fix these issues when released. I am able to produce more accurate patterns and eliminate errors that occur from hand cutting, sewing, etc.

Pros
  • Ability customize designs
  • Printing capabilities
  • Easy layout change/edit (color changes)
  • Ease designing templates by drawing directly onto surface(s) insteadof creating one first manually.
  • Allows seamless movement between design screen & pattern output screens
Cons
  • I will keep silent
