Review on πŸ‹ Sagaform Citrus Squeezer Deluxe by Whitney Bailey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I can FINALLY stop looking for a decent citrus reamer!

I had a no frills glass citrus reamer that I had no problems with that I happened to have bought at the grocery store about 5 years ago. Until I took the reamer out of the dishwasher while it was still warm and started breaking it in half while squeezing lemon juice straight from the fridge onto it. Lesson learned. I went back the same day to buy another one but found it was no longer in the store. Numerous Internet searches later revealed that it was discontinued by the manufacturer. I was a bit devastated as I had a really good relationship with this simple glass reamer. If you're like me, you want the tools you interact with to work perfectly. A suitable tool should provide the user with an immersive experience and improve their ability to do something better than if they didn't have the tool (otherwise the tool would be ubiquitous). Also, if you're like me, you love citrus juices. I use citrus as an acid in almost everything, and as a result we buy at least a dozen lemons, limes, oranges, etc. a week at home. Bottom line: I want a juicer that works, is strong and will last with proper care, big enough to hold more juice from a lemon, simple, modern and authentic than it tries to be - no easy combination of attributes you will find , with all the ornate glass extender style, "the depression era". Look no further. This reamer is a citrus maniac's dream. It is very pleasant to use, easy to clean and fulfills all the properties listed above. Use my months of suffering, disappointment and sacrifice in trying to find the one. Buy it. Nice. It works out. The fact that it's Swedish always adds to the perceived value of my book, but I'm biased because I've lived there. Have fun while reading.
