No instructions. Assembly without them seems pretty easy, and for the most part it's obvious except for tying the sticks at the top. It's not the easiest and the tipi won't be as "open" as it should be if you don't do it right. They should make it easier or at least add instructions. The quality seems ok although I got a splinter from a hole in the stick when it was sanded down. Our dogs did some research, but don't climb yourself, your run will be different. We now use it as a decorative way to store all of our dog's squeaky toys.
