Ideal for cleaning and polishing copper!

On the advice of an experienced plumber, I ordered 0000 super fine steel wool for cleaning and polishing copper tubing. This allows me to remove defects from the tube without scratching the copper. I use it with vinegar and salt to clean heavily soiled pipes and fittings and with Brasso for a final cleaning and polishing. I've also used it to successfully clean a $400 Rufoni copper pot. It was badly tarnished from years of use and I actually removed it for a while as I was hesitant to use anything to clean it for fear of messing it up.
