update #2. Now my car won't reset for some reason. I go through the zeroing and then fill the vat, but the printer is rubbing against the first layer of film and making this horrible rattling noise. I have no idea how to fix this and I'm sick of cleaning bins and don't really want to go back and forth with this printer anymore. The tape around my LCS screen is also peeling off so I don't know how long that will take. to another printer. This isn't the one. Too much work, update: well, I'll put it this way. If you have any problems, you can get technical support. QIDI will support this product. So I finally found my problem. I tightened the pan bolts quite aggressively. When I took out the vat after printing, I noticed that the vat was locked on the LCD screen. Some people use tape between the vat and the strainer to fix this problem. I only tightened the handles enough to keep the vat from slipping and my print from sticking to the foil. QIDI's solution was to tilt the model 45 degrees. This works, but doubles the printing time. I will make more prints to test it more. The prints are fantastic by the way. After unboxing and zeroing, I poured my resin, sliced my model using the software, making sure to select the S-Box as my printer. I downloaded the CTB which is on a USB stick and all I got was a piece of my model taped to photometric film. Restarted again, same result. I even replaced the photometric film which required removing and replacing 30 screws. 30 screws?!?!? I tried again, a thin strip of my model stuck to the foil. Maybe crap, but for that much money it should work out of the box.
