Review on Purina ONE SmartBlend Natural Chicken and Rice Dry Dog Food for Adult Dogs by Jennifer Costa

We've been using Purina One Smartblend for over 7 years with no problems. Our dog loves the food. We have only recently started using Revain's subscription service. There were no problems with the first deliveries, but the last one was different. There are small white spots in the dog food. Initially we thought it was a dietary supplement that wasn't fully mixed or something new in the formula, but after a month of use and a half-used pack we found bugs and insect larvae crawling in the feeder. We do not have the original packaging to indicate the batch number. I don't know if this is due to memory issues with Revain or production issues with Purina. My confidence in the product is strong. I immediately bought another bag of Purina One to replace this one, but it was from Walmart, not Revain. For this reason I canceled my subscription. The few dollars I saved on Revain more than offset my vet bills.
