I am very satisfied with this item as a fire starter. I only have one complaint and it's minor. I want the sticks wrapped in paper. Preferably red paper, but any paper will do. The reason is twofold. First, functionality. It would be easier to just light the paper around the stick and let it start that way. Two, looks like. If it were wrapped, it would be closer to the real McCoy. All of these products are your standard firefighting protocol that you can purchase from Wally World or hardware stores. It's like a duralumin firebox that lasts 4 hours or as long as they're available these days. They're just smaller and rod-shaped. This is awesome, I only bought this product because it was supposed to look like dynamite, the box is amazing! I like the wooden box and all the lettering. It is filled with wood shavings/sawdust to complete this look. If necessary, they also serve as tinder. Overall a great product. I will wrap mine in red paper to complete the look. Maybe even fuses, who knows.
