Some people, myself included, installed it backwards, resulting in hot settings being cold and vice versa. To solve this problem, simply rotate the device 180 degrees. I'm deducting a star because the labeling on the device itself could be improved to avoid such errors. Finally, there are many aftermarket options, but I went with OEM because the price difference wasn't too big. I didn't want to bet on the durability of the aftermarket offerings. The original device lasted about 5 years.
