Review on 🏮 Safavieh Vintage Hamadan VTH214T Oriental Runner, 2'3" x 12', Non-Shedding Taupe Rug - Perfect for Living Room and Bedroom by Darrell Beecher

The rug arrived in a clear plastic case. I followed the instructions, cut off one end and let the mat slide out. I then removed the end cap and sections of the plastic wrap that were holding the rug rolled up tightly. I fell in love. The rug is based on Persian handmade Hamadan rugs woven in Hamadan. Pros: The packaging keeps the rug safe and sound. After I unrolled the rug, it was ready for furniture placement. There was no forgiveness. There was no odor or chemical smell. The edges were neatly and firmly attached to each other. There are no snags or bumps in the loopback binding. Disadvantages: none. Size: Carpet 9ft x 12ft. so perfect for the price that I don't mind small size differences. Thickness: about 0.45 inch. I specifically wanted a soft carpet, but without a high pile. I wanted a synthetic rug that was easy to vacuum and clean. This new carpet replaced the expensive, high-pile, hand-knotted wool carpet. Although the previous carpet was nice, it was a nightmare for me. I have a small dog and wanted something I could clean and dry quickly and without much fuss if the dog had an accident. Color/Pattern: Love, Love, Love, Love. The best thing about a rug, besides the price, is the design. The pattern is in soft taupe with brown and camel accents. The taupe background has a very slight vintage/aged look. Its "artificial" wear almost looks like stripes running through a solid background. i really like it
