UPDATE: So the first one lasted 45 days 8+ hours a day. I contacted the company and they sent me a new one. Again - 45 days later, and the second is dead. The company turned out to be a pro to work with. The factory found a manufacturing problem and refunded me the money I paid for the purchase. If you have any problems, contact the seller - he will take care of all problems. 5 stars for the company! It has definitely replaced my old wax cake burners that used tea lights. I love that this one has a timer function unlike the others. I will say that the cupcake holders that come with the kit are completely unnecessary. In fact, the wax took forever to melt and it just didn't smell. So I tried just putting the cake in a metal cup, it melted much faster and the taste was amazing. I used it every day for at least 12 hours. I just put a metal cup in the freezer for 5-10 minutes and the old cake just falls out. Maybe cupcake holders are for heating oil, I don't know. It's much safer for dogs (or children) than flames.
