Review on Optimized Small 🐾 Animal PlayPen by Marshall by Sharon Smith

Keep both ferrets indoors!

We always use this gate cage in place of a store bought cage for ferrets to allow them freedom of movement. It is possible to buy another one to connect to (they connect easily) but they are much larger than any cage and they have plenty of space. They often run and play. Bars are such that they can't get out, but they try. The cage water bottle works great with it. I added one of the high backed pots I had tied to the side not for defecating but for eating, they poop where they want. Now they don't make a big mess with their food. All of this is on an 8ft by 10ft tarp. I bought 2 tarps. They poop on the fence like most ferrets do. I scrape the poo from the bottom of the toilet, then slightly lift one side at a time and move them across the poo-covered tarpaulin. I leave them at home while I do this, but a carrier would be better because they sometimes use the basement as a pot while I do this. I pull the garbage tarp out the back door, remove the hose, hang it up to dry, grab the last dry tarp from the last cleaning, put it down and put the cage back on. The ability of this cage to fold allows it to be small and able to lift multiple sections at once, and the ferrets will not get hurt even when they are in it. Now it takes 5 or 10 minutes instead of an hour. I don't do anything with the hose. I love this cage. You can buy rubber flooring but after looking at it I think a tarp is easier and I've read that it's chewed and I don't have to spray poop as the hose hits my lip and straight into mine Face shoots or your head covered. plus ID needed 2 each time and a small carrier but the tarp was only $6. It took 6 weeks but I finally made it to the fine arts, it's quick and easy and they are as happy as can be!
