I received the mat on 11/15/21, now it is 11/23/21. When I pulled out the plastic mat, I noticed a slight odor, but after the mat was under my desk for several hours, a very strong and unpleasant musty smell emerged. It's not the smell of plastic when you order something from abroad - it's the smell of a damp towel that's been sitting in the corner for over a week. It soaked my entire desk and the first day I actually got a headache from the fumes. I messaged the seller the day I received the mat and was told that I need to purchase (buy) a special spray on the mat to get the smell out. I was hoping that after a week the smell would be gone because I have to order 5 more for my colleagues. I'm not going to expose her to this experience, so I'm going to return this rug and find another. I suggest you do the same.
