Glass files are just what I needed and it was a shame not to reach for them. Like any glass file, they last a little longer but wear out over time. I have very long nails and I file them every day, so you can imagine I go through the files pretty quickly. The disadvantage of glass files is that they break quite easily. They are made of glass and therefore need to be properly cared for and stored. I broke quite a lot in my time. I haven't broken any of these yet, but that will happen eventually. Just be safe and dispose of your glass files properly when they become worn out or broken.
