Review on ๐Ÿ”ง CDI Torque 401SM - Micro Adjustable Screwdriver, 5-40 Inch-Pound Torque Range, 1/4-Inch Size by Aaron Stewart

Quality tool - wrench

I bought this to fit a scope to my AR15. After extensive research, I narrowed my choices down to this CDI 401SM (it's basically a slip-on tool) and the Wiha TorqueVario-S screwdrivers. Both got great reviews, but the Wiha is โ‚ฌ10 cheaper. Ultimately I chose this CDI screwdriver because it's made in the USA, looks more compact and best of all I don't need a second torque tool whereas with Wiha you need a SEPARATE wand. which you need to insert into the main screwdriver and turn to the desired torque level. All I have to do with this CDI tool is pull the adjustment cap from the bottom and twist to the desired torque level. I just don't want to suffer for losing or looking for my second adjustment tool every time I need to torque the Wiha. Also, Wiha includes an extension that will NOT accept 1/4" bits. In order for it to accept common (in the US) 1/4" bits, you'll have to shell out another $12 for a properly sized extension cord. So it's not difficult for me to choose this CDI torque screwdriver for the above reasons. The product arrived well packaged with a certificate of calibration. The screwdriver itself looks nice, high quality, strong looking and feels good in the hand. Moreover is the display window is clear and easy to read. I am completely satisfied with this purchase and feel more confident when working on my RC helicopters or mounting an expensive scope (I mean REALLY expensive) on my rifle. Thanks Revain and Snap-on!
