This pool has survived most of the past summer's two German Shepherds, which have needed repairs from time to time. True, here it was used quite intensively. I find the pool to be easy to fill and a little more difficult to empty as the outlet valve is about 1.5 inches off the bottom and to completely empty the pool you have to raise the pool and the remaining water. The pool floor developed a small crack in the first week of use, but as the pool is on a level surface and the vinyl is thick enough, a piece of tape and the weight of the water held the leak back very slowly after the summer's 3 cracks heavy use, still usable, heavy use may cause small cracks which are fairly easy to fix if you use the pool on a hard smooth surface, dogs have their claws trimmed and rounded and I would imagine that sharp, unattended claws could tear through the ground dogs over 40-50 pounds. This pool could be greatly improved by doubling the thickness of the vinyl. The pool could be improved with a deeper pool, albeit at a higher cost. which I gladly pay. I'll buy 2 more of these until I find something better.
