Revainrating 5 out of 5

Approved for Special Operations Soldiers

As a Special Operations Soldier for the past 29 years in the US Army I have used all forms of glow-in-the-dark ribbons, powders, keychains etc Several of my soldiers have purchased this item and I have seen for myself how well it works. As for the most luminous keychain. It is very strong and holds tritium safely. The glow-in-the-dark isotope retains its glow very well, much longer than many items we use today. It's NOT bright enough for reading or navigating, but it's very useful for finding objects in the dark. The darker and the longer you are in a dark place away from the light, the better it is to see the keychain. We often travel in total darkness, so maintaining our night vision is vital to both our training and missions while not using white light at night. I now have this keychain, as well as several others, and my gear is ready for my next assignment. I'll try to write down how well they stand up to such conditions, but so far they've survived over 40 free-fall parachute jumps, at least 20 deep-sea military dives, and several months of very tough desert and urban training scenarios. . I ordered this celadon just to see how bright it is compared to the green. In my opinion this is a very good product and no, the company didn't offer me anything to write about it.
