Jokes aside, I'm actually shocked at how quiet this thing really is. I build my own PCs every few years, usually with the best parts available at the time. I've always used liquid cooling in my PCs because I felt that a fanned heatsink couldn't cool a high performance processor in any way. I was wrong. The top of the heap is in the CPU heatsink. That is, if you don't mind spending a little more. Other air cooling manufacturers did well in some reviews, but usually when cost was considered. This cooler makes my old liquid cooling system sound like a Mack truck. I never realized how much noise he made until he disappeared. This thing whispers. In general, I only hear something when I test or play something intensively with Cinebench. It's only then that I hear my fans spin up a bit, but it's still not as loud as my old cooler. (And a lot of the noise I'm hearing is probably my two GPU fans, not that cooler.) Cooling was the same or better than my old liquid cooling system, and it's an i9-9900k dual M.2 drive, a high-performance GPU and a 850W power supply that generates heat inside the case. Some people don't like colors. But I'm a practical person and I don't care about aesthetics. And for these people they are now doing black and also this tanning scheme. What I love about air cooling is that you never have to worry about it leaking and ruining your entire car. If something breaks here, then it's the fan and can be easily replaced. Buy this cooler. That's great.
