tea bags fit perfectly ;y. Not sure why the other reviewers had an issue with the size. The loops are a bit strange. They seem to break easily, so they might not be great for organizing kids stuff, but they work for tea. I LOVE the size! They do a great job of pairing my many teas. It's also nice to be able to separate herbal and caffeinated teas. My 4 year old daughter likes to choose her own flavor and I can give her a box of her choice. I bought an extra set to organize some of our junk as they stack up nicely in the closet.
