Overall I am very satisfied. This is a big improvement over the bare steering wheel. My setup was in VW Rabbit Mk5 (2007). The wheel deteriorated on top and felt rough. Once installed it looks like a new wheel. I followed various video tutorials on youtube and it took about an hour and a half to two hours to install the wheel in the car. Plan for a shady spot or work on a cool day so you don't overheat! The gloves help keep the string taut. You really have to work a lot around the spokes of the wheel to get the cap to fit snugly and that changes the way you ride. Take your time. Also, the instructions say not to start with the knitting needles. I suggest picking a point midway between the two spokes on the bottom of the wheel. Why? 1. The more threads you can make on both sides of the needle, the tighter you can pull the skin to the needle. 2. The underside of the wheel at 4 or 7 o'clock is probably the least used.
