I am very impressed with how easy the Blackout fabric is to install and really blocks the light! I already had a double set of green curtains but they didn't block out enough light for our 2 year old's day. Take a nap when the sun hits the window. The fourth photo shows some light bleeding before I installed the blackout fabric. In the third photo you can see that the light is blocked after I put the blackout fabric behind the green curtains. I recommend installing it in a windowsill so the blackout fabric is flush with the window (see first and second photos). I decided to keep our existing curtains to keep the wind off our large fan and reduce our son's temptation to play with the devices. I installed the blackout cloth in less than 10 minutes (a two year old tried to steal my drill). Blackout fabric blocks are attached with two easily removable clips that connect to the blocks along their full length. This means that you don't have to take precise measurements or adjust clamps on a regular basis. I definitely plan on buying them again for other rooms in our house!
