Granted, we've only used it once so far, but the kids love it. My 9 and 5 year olds can both play on it at the same time. The water pools just enough that there is some in the bottom to play with with their toys and the spouts go different directions. I don't know if it was just the angle of the ground, but about a third of them pointed away from the play mat, which isn't a big deal for us. It gives them some play space without water in their faces. They spent hours playing with it today even after the water was shut off. We will be getting a lot of use out of it this summer for sure. I'll update if it ever fails and what, if anything, happened. So far so good.
